Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and LGA DIGITAL ENTERPRISE (CNPJ 52.570.935/0001-07, Brazil), which runs Corp Wars at playcorpwars.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying credits you accept them. If you don't, please don't use the game.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy credits. One account per person, and one corp per account.

2. Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, reset your password and tell us at support@playcorpwars.com.

3. Corps and websites

Register only a website you own or are authorized to represent. Verifying the domain (a DNS record or a meta tag) proves that. A corp that doesn't verify within 72 hours of founding goes dark: it is hidden and frozen until it verifies. When the real owner of a domain verifies it, every other corp claiming that domain goes dark. We may rename, suspend or remove corps that impersonate someone, squat a domain or break these terms.

4. Satire and real companies

Corp Wars is a satirical strategy game. Attacks, heists, scandals and headlines are fictional game events, not statements of fact about any real company or person. Companies appear because their founders registered them; they are not otherwise affiliated with us, and their names, logos and trademarks belong to them. If your company appears without your consent, write to support@playcorpwars.com and we will review it promptly.

5. Content and fair play

Taunts, corp names and taglines are public. They must not contain hate speech, harassment of individuals, threats, personal data, sexual content or anything illegal. Roast the product, not the people. Don't use bots or scripts, run several accounts to farm grants or rewards, or exploit bugs; report bugs instead. We may delete content and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.

6. Credits

Credits (₵) are an in-game currency. Whether earned or bought, they are a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use features of the game. They are not money or property, have no cash value, can't be sold, traded or withdrawn, and can't be exchanged back for money except as described under Purchases. We change game balance, prices and rules over time, and seasons reset Influence and part of every asset's level each month, as the Field manual describes. Credits carry over between seasons.

7. Purchases

Credit packs are priced in US dollars, with any VAT or sales tax due already included. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Credits are delivered to your corp right after payment.

Because the credits are delivered immediately, when you buy you ask us to deliver them right away and agree that, once delivered, you lose the right to cancel the purchase where the law allows that. If the law where you live gives you a right to cancel that can't be waived (for example, the 7-day right of withdrawal in Brazil's Consumer Defense Code, where it applies), email support@playcorpwars.com within that period: we refund the payment and remove the credits.

If you were charged by mistake or something went wrong with a purchase, write to us before opening a dispute with your bank; we will fix it. A refunded or disputed payment removes the matching credits from your corp, and abusing chargebacks can get an account suspended.

8. Suspension and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in HQ → Settings. That permanently removes your corp, its assets and its credits, including bought ones, and can't be undone. If we suspend or ban an account for breaking these terms, unused credits are lost. If we ever shut the game down, we will announce it at least 30 days ahead and stop selling credits when we announce it.

9. The service

We work to keep Corp Wars running and fair, but it is provided as it is, may change, and may sometimes be unavailable or have bugs. We may roll back game state that a bug or an exploit produced.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law says can't be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice on the site or by email before they apply. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account. Purchases are governed by the version you accepted when buying.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the country where you live and may bring a claim in the courts of your home. Before going to court, please write to support@playcorpwars.com; most problems are solved there.
